Odd - I don't see that on the Linux machine on which I tried it, but
your mileage, X server, and version of GTK may vary (I'm using
Accelerated-X 4.1.2 as an X server, and GTK 1.2.1).  If this is the
result of a difference between your machine and mine, my suspicion is
that it might be GTK 1.0[.x] vs. GTK 1.2[.x], although

	1) that theory dies pretty quickly if you're using 1.2[.x];

	2) it's not clear why I don't see a problem with GTK 1.0[.x].
