I compiled all versions since 0.8.3 from source, and the libpcap with
guy-harris-patch is from that time. Even the latest version needs only a
recompile/install (just ethereal, no libpcap). This works fine, as long
as you install each version in a different directory. And as you can
readily surmise, I'm working with Linux ;-)
